Today's Japanese lesson 'なんで?'
First of all, I'm Japanese, but I'm not a teacher, so the Japanese I'm going to tell you might be grammatically wrong.
Have you used/heard of the word?
It means "why?"
We use it to know a reason.
like this
A：「今日、会社に遅刻（ちこく）しちゃったよ」
B：「え？なんで？」
A：「電車が遅れてたからね。」
A：「あそこのお店先週から閉まってるらしいよ。」
B：「なんで？」
A：「店長が病気らしいよ。」
I use it to my family, my friends, my co-workers, but when I use it to a person who is older than me, like my boss, I'd use "なぜですか？/なんでですか?"
Actually, one of my co-worker uses it as "because"
like this
A：「今日は昼から帰ります。なんで、この仕事を代わりにお願いします。」
Could you tell me when you correct my post. I'm not sure if you mean "this is good, but you can also say this" or "this is not good. you have to use this"
